ABI 3900 High Throughput DNA Oligo Synthesizer

The ABI 3900 synthesizer is designed for production-level environments, where the need for flexibility is high, tolerance for down-time is low, and bench space is limited.

• Produces high-quality oligos with low reagent consumption and low operating cost.

• Dedicated reagent delivery lines prevent cross contamination.

• The instrument synthesizes high quality unlabeled oligos and includes optimized cycles for producing dye-labeled primersand probes.

High throughput

• Produces up to 288 primerlength oligos at 40 and 200 nmol scales in less than 10 hours (six runs of 48).

• Capable of making 12 oligos at 40 and 200 nmol scales in less than one hour producing high-quality oligonucleotides.

Range of scales

• Ideal for synthesizing short primers and probes as

well as long oligonucleotides (> 50-mer) at scales of 40 nmol, 0.2 µmol, and 1 µmol.

• Can synthesize all three scales in one run.

Controls:

• A PC controller allows you to transfer sequences, functions, and cycles to the ABI 3900 synthesizer automatically.

• The user interface enables full-cycle editing and modification.

• Flexible software and multiple amidite bottle positions offer a wide range of synthesis options.

Columns and chemistry

• The proprietary column design and polystyrene supports offer optimal synthesis quality.

• Available in packages of 200.

• The ABI 3900 synthesizer is based on the same principles as other ABI synthesizers, and integrates into your lab easily and cost effectively. Proprietary polystyrene columns available in scales of 40 nmol, 0.2 µmol, and 1 µmol. ABI 3900 HT columns packaged in containers of 200, colorcoded green, yellow, red, and blue for A, G, C, and T, respectively.
