Accuri's C6 Flow Cytometer® System is a full featured, two-laser, six-detector analytical flow cytometer system including: the C6 Flow Cytometer, CFlow® Software, and a PC workstation for operation and analysis. The C6 Flow Cytometer System provides all the capabilities of the best selling flow cytometers at a fraction of the price. The C6 Flow Cytometer System has six detectors to capture both forward and side scattered light as well as four fluorescence detectors, each with user selectable optical filters.

The operating software is designed to make data collection and analysis fast and painless. In fact, CFlow is so intuitive that you will be up and running within an hour of receiving your Accuri system.

The Accuri C6 Flow Cytometer has pre-optimized detector settings and an increased dynamic range of over 6 decades, making all of your data available all of the time. In addition, Accuri added the CFlow Zoom function, which allows you to visualize your data at any scale, enabling the precision settings of gates and regions.

The fluidics system of the C6 Flow Cytometer is an entirely new approach in two ways. First the user can control both the speed of the sample uptake and the diameter of the core stream. This allows the user to "dial in" the optimal core size for their sample-large for mammalian cells, small for yeast, and very small for bacteria. Second, the C6 Flow Cytometer fluidics system actually meters the sample fluid uptake so it is simple to obtain absolute counts, or sample concentration. In fact, CFlow automatically calculates the events per microliter for every run. The C6 Flow Cytometer is programmed for automatic decontamination and cleaning of the fluidics system. Pressing the power button to turn off the instrument triggers the C6 Flow Cytometer to automatically run Decontamination and Cleaning fluids through the fluidics lines. The Cleaning fluid will remain in the fluidics lines until the instrument is turned on again by pressing the power button. When powered on, the C6 Flow Cytometer will automatically flush the fluidics lines with sheath fluid prior to reporting that it is ready for a sample.

The C6 Flow Cytometer does not use a pressurized fluidics system, so it is very tolerant of the type and brand of sample tube used. The C6 Flow Cytometer can accommodate several types of tubes, including any brand of 12x75mm tubes and most microcentrifuge tubes.

The C6 Flow Cytometer System is designed to fit easily into any lab. The cytometer is a bench top instrument that requires less space than a small microwave (17.3"W x 16.3"D). At less than 30 pounds it is easy to reposition as needed. No other cytometer packs so much analytical power in so small a package.

The optional Accuri CSampler takes flow cytometry to the next level, by adding simple, reliable and easy-to-use automation to the C6 Flow Cytometer System. And best of all, CSampler is less than half the price of other flow cytometry automation systems and can be self-installed in only five minutes!

Now, you can prepare your samples in 96-well plates and take them straight to the flow cytometer without the need to transfer them into test tubes, saving both time and additional steps. CSampler is compatible with 48- and 96-well microplates and deep well plates, and also comes with a 24-tube rack for standard 12x75mm tubes. Multiple experiments can be run in a single plate, with settings being applied to specific wells or the entire plate, with the ability to construct templates.
