Features of the GeneAmp PCR 9600
The GeneAmp PCR System is specifically designed for the amplification of nucleic acids, using a polymerase chain reaction (PCR) process.
The ergonomic design of this instrument includes an easy view fluorescent 2x20 chr. display. You navigate the menu selections and input and edit data via the keypad.
The system can store 150 user files. The size and “last used” date are displayed in the directory as well. The methods can be selected, and their profiles viewed in detail, and edited. The sample tray is a 8x12 0.2mL well matrix., and is serviced by an internal film heater and refrigeration unit. Complete CPU, memory, port tests, and software upgrade are supported.
Up to nine setpoints can be programmed with fixed or indefinite time duration. The pattern can be repeated up to 99 times. AUTO lets the user increment or decrement settings each cycle repetition.
